United States Military has
maintained air superiority
since World War II. While
sustaining air superiority
over battlefield has
required leading
technological advances,
little attention has been
paid to the battle of intake
air being waged on the
ground by transportation and
maintenance personnel in
every war from WW I to the
sands of Operation Iraqi
Freedom.
