March 24, 2020 — Sy-Klone International continues to actively manage the impact the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak is having on our business, that of our customers and suppliers, and our broader communities. Sy-Klone is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, while continuing to support our customers’ needs.
Under legislation from the “Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency” (CISA) defining essential business, we intend for the Sy-Klone International facility located in Jacksonville, FL to remain open to support vital infrastructure needs and requirements. We have been receiving, and continue to receive, letters of support from customers that speak to the ways in which Sy-Klone’s products are a necessary input to customers’ vital infrastructure needs and requirements. To that end, we continue to closely monitor and plan effectively against an evolving set of supply chain circumstances, and have secure supply available over the next 30-60 days.
Over recent days, several state governors and local officials have issued executive orders of varying severity to minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
These executive orders include some of the following:
- All non-essential businesses must stop operating (not applicable to FL at this time)
- All public and private gatherings are prohibited except for very limited purposes (applicable to FL)
- Places of public amusement, indoors and outdoors, shall be closed to the public (partially applicable to FL)
- All travel is prohibited unless for essential business or operations (not applicable to FL at this time)
We continue to follow developments in the state of Florida, and to best protect our employees. In addition, we are well prepared to demonstrate the ways in which Sy-Klone’s products directly support a number of vital infrastructure needs, including military, emergency/fire services, waste, agriculture, road and rail repair/transport, mining, and construction.
Thank you for your support, and we will continue to communicate openly with you on any updates that occur going forward.
