FloridaMakes Network, in Partnership with The Sterling Council, Announces Eleven Florida Manufacturers Have Won the 2022 Florida Sterling Manufacturing Business Excellence (SMBE) Award.
ORLANDO, FL – Eleven Florida manufacturers have received the 2022 Florida Sterling Manufacturing Business Excellence (SMBE) Award. The SMBE Awards are given annually to Florida manufacturers who achieve high levels of performance in several categories, including leadership, strategy, customer and market focus, measurement, analysis, knowledge management, workforce, and operations.

The 11 winners were chosen from 23 finalists. Over 160 Florida manufacturers were nominated for this year’s award. A team of Sterling Council-trained examiners and manufacturing community representatives contributed their time and expertise to evaluate nominations, including virtual site visits and interviews with managers and employees of semi-finalists.
The FloridaMakes Network will feature the finalists and winners in webinars, plant tours and events that share best practices to benefit Florida’s manufacturing sector.
